LAS VEGAS—Nyomi Banks announced the release of a new series on her daily development show, "The Season of Self Love" podcast. She calls the series Explant Journey.
The new series is premiering in July and will feature intimate conversations with women who have undergone breast implant removal, including Banks' journey as she prepares for her "explant" surgery, scheduled for August. Dr. Will Washington, a resident clinical therapist, will also be present on the show throughout.
Launched in October 2023, the daily podcast (Monday-Friday) has achieved recognition, as it celebrated 300 episodes in April.
"I'm not just interviewing others about their explant experiences—I'm living this journey myself," said Banks. "As I prepare for my own surgery next month, I'm documenting every step: the fears, the hopes, the research, and the emotional transformation that happens even before the physical healing begins."
