HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Micky Lynn, an icon from the golden era of 90s porn, is the latest guest on the "Get Schooled" podcast with Marcela Alonso, in the nearly 60-minute episode, "Unfiltered with Micky Lynn: Inside the Golden Era of Adult Entertainment."
Alonso and Lynn talked about how she got started in the industry in New York City (hint: peep shows at Show World) and her boyfriend—who later became her husband—serving as her support system. She dispelled the myth that he got her into it the business, empasizing it was her choice. Lynn laid out her journey as a house girl at strip clubs, then moving to California to work in movies, and eventually returning to Show World to feature. The two discussed building a brand back then versus now, the shelf-life porn stars used to have, how the internet changed the industry, and the legends she worked with. She reflected on leaving adult and coming back 17 years later, her new book, and what being an adult star really is.
