Mia Isabella Named Queer Prom Silver Sponsor
LOS ANGELES—Mia Isabella has been named a Silver Sponsor of Grooby x FHM’s second Queer Prom, an invite-only industry and community event taking place Sept. 25 at the Bardot in Hollywood.
“Queer Prom was such an incredible event,” said Isabella. “I attended the first one and danced the night away with friends. I look forward to seeing everyone and am happy to support such a wonderful event.”
Mia Isabella was born and raised in Chicago and entered the adult industry at 19. She worked with major studios and won multiple industry awards.
After retiring as a performer, Mia appeared in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto 5 providing the voice for “Hooker Number One,” making her the first transgender person to be featured in a video game. She also appeared in the final season of FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
In 2016, she returned to the adult industry to direct, produce and star in her own scenes for www.mia-isabella.com.
Queer Prom is co-hosted by Grooby and its sister company, Flaming Hearts Media (FHM), co-founded by award-winning performer Foxxy and Grooby’s Kristel Penn. Ticket sales and sponsorships go directly toward hosting costs.
