LOS ANGELES—Marica Hase won Best VR and Quirkiest Accomplishment at Bazowie Con in Las Vegas.
Hase earned Best VR for "The King of Fighters: Mai Shiranui," a VR Conk release in which she portrays the fan-favorite fighting game character, and Quirkiest Accomplishment for her ongoing collaboration with Buusan, her beloved pig plush companion.
Said Hase, "I am so happy and grateful to win two Bazowie Awards this year. Best VR means so much because I love bringing cosplay and fantasy characters to life, and winning with Buusan makes my heart so happy because he has become part of my world with the fans. To be recognized by Bazowie for six years in a row is really special to me because these awards celebrate creativity, fun, and individuality. And I sewed my dress myself!"
