Leana Lovings Hosts Mental Health Workshop, Welcomes AVN Noms

MIAMI—Leana Lovings will host an anonymous online gathering for sex workers and creative professionals in the adult industry, titled, “Understanding Ourselves in Uncertain Times: A Workshop,” this Wednesday, December 11.

The event represents the second session facilitated by the adult film star to provide mental health resources for the adult community, following July’s “Self-Compassion and Coping in Sex Work” workshop.

“I sincerely want people in the community to feel supported, and providing resources like this helps me reach out in my own way,” Lovings said. “I firmly believe that these talks, which allow anonymity while sharing knowledge that more people deserve to have, are what’s needed.  I hope more people are inspired to organize gatherings like this.”

The event will feature returning guest speaker Dr. Coralis Solomon, PhD, LMHC, NCC.

Dr. Solomon, who specializes in the prevention of burnout and addressing occupational stressors, is a recognized international speaker. In a notable achievement, she served as the keynote speaker for the 2021 American Mental Health Counselor Association (AMHCA) annual conference, was chosen as the featured wellness presenter for the 2016 American Counseling Association (ACA) conference, and most recently presented for the United Nations at their 2024 Happiness Summit in the topic of “Healing with Laughter.”

The free, anonymous event, “Understanding Ourselves in Uncertain Times: A Workshop,” will be accessible via Zoom exclusively to sex workers and other adult industry creative professionals. The session will take place December 11 at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET.

In related news, Lovings received two nominations in the 2025 AVN Awards, in recognition of her diverse onscreen work in adult film over the past year. On November 21, the AVN Awards Nominations Committee announced that the Adult Time brand ambassador is a contender in the following categories: Best Supporting Actress: Birth (Adult Time) and Best POV Sex Scene: Hiding My Step-Sister's Glasses (Sister Trick/Is This Real?! / Adult Time); starring Leana Lovings & Nathan Bronson.

Lovings’ nomination for her performance in director Bree Mills’ dramatic thriller Birth represents the first acting nomination of the young star’s career.

“What a year. I’m very grateful for the nominations received from AVN this year, and receiving best POV Sex Scene and Best Supporting Actress is reflective also of how I’ve felt during this time of discovery and unfolding,” Lovings said.

“Hiding My Step-Sister’s Glasses was so much fun to film, and I’ve always enjoyed how deeply ‘at home’ I feel within POV work. Nathan Bronson is an amazing co-star, and I’m glad to be receiving the Best POV Sex Scene nomination along with him,” she added.

“One of the 2025 nominations I’m most excited for, Best Supporting Actress, still has me in shock,” Lovings said further. “I’m so grateful to Adult Time, to Bree Mills, to the crew, and most especially my co-stars Casey Calvert and Seth Gamble, for the path that Birth has taken. If it wasn’t for the talent of every hand on set that has touched this project, I could not have had enough confidence to dive into my character the way I did, and for it to have carried so strongly into its final published iteration.”

“This is my first time being considered for Best Supporting Actress. I’m deeply grateful, and I hope to have more projects to feature in this upcoming year, to prove that I will always exceed what is expected of me,” Lovings described. “I look forward to attending AVN/AEE 2025 this January, in full support and recognition of my friends, and my own hard work this past year.”
