HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Porn and punk veteran Jim Powers and his band Killroy will play their third show of the year on May 24 at Corbin Bowl (Bar 10) as part of the one-day Punk Rock No-Tap Smash Bowling Show over Memorial Day weekend, which combines a music lineup with a bowling tournament.
Seven bands will play the event, including Killroy, featuring original members Tom De Spain, Eric Troop, Doug Polito, and Powers. Other performers include Sloppy Seconds, The Freeze, Pulley, Guilty by Association, The Afraid, and Color TV.
Said Powers, "You know you’re in for a good time when PBR is the sponsor. This is the best way to spend the Sunday of your long three-day weekend. There’s nothing more fun than one of our shows with slam dancing, grown men dressed as chickens, and lots of other wild happenings. We’ll also have t-shirt giveaways and some other surprises—see you there!"
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. and the show will start at 4:00 p.m. The Corbin Bowl is located at 19616 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana. Buy presale tickets here.
