LOS ANGELES—Eric John’s Erotique Entertainment will debut “Crucible” on Aug. 12 via Clips4Sale.
The video features trans performers Kasey Kei (2026 TEA Award winner for Best Hardcore Performer), Victoria Grant (2026 TEA Award winner for Best Solo Model) and Andylynn Payne (2026 TEA Award winner for Best DVD) along with veteran director-performer and Erotique Entertainment CEO Eric John.
“I have always emphasized a very visual, fashion influenced lens on everything,” said John. “I also have never been limited by any traditional expectation of genre, format, length—ANY limiting constraint.”
“Crucible” is a sequel to the studio’s “Triangle,” which starred John, Kiarra Kai, and a then-newcomer Brittney Kade.
John’s look for the new release comes in part from using at least five cameras at all times, along with frequent cuts, split screens, and editing style.
“Even the biggest companies are frequently relying on a single camera view these days,” he said. "And most companies are putting more effort into the intro section—as far as filmmaking—then the actual sex portion. They care more about marketing than the art. I am into visual vignettes that are immersive sexual explorations filmed in fascinating unique ways. Artificial dialogue-heavy setups are not something I need or desire when engaging with a filmed sexual experience.
“When I am creating the art, I separate off the ‘business mind’ of my brain as much as possible,” John said. “I make the movie that I am inspired by, that I picture in my mind. Without worrying about anything else other than that."
John added, “When I achieve that—seeing what’s in my mind manifest in the finished product—I am artistically fulfilled. I then put it out there, and hopefully it finds an audience. But those are two distinct and separate processes and mindsets."
Casting is a key element of John's productions, with an emphasis on finding talent with the chemistry and range to bring his vision to life.
“All three of these women were amazing,” John said. “And great people to have on set, a true joy to work with.”
Kei echoed the industry veteran, adding, “This movie was such a magical experience! Any day I get to work with my friends is a good one but that day on camera was especially special. The energy and vibes from Eric, Andylynn, and Victoria were so perfect. Watching the finished film, the chemistry was palpable. I love the vintage quality of the movie. Great film!”
For Grant, working with John was particularly gratifying. “I’m incredibly passionate about learning and constantly challenging myself, and I think Eric as a director and a performer shares these passions,” explained Grant. “I absolutely loved being on set with my two close friends and it was a pleasure working with Eric. Such a blast! I’m very happy about this movie.”
Payne said, “Eric’s exploration of feminine/masculine in his sexy clothes and heels added another fetish dimension to this hot movie. All the different ever changing sexual roles was a transcendent way to film.”
