HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Director Jim Powers has garnered multiple award nominations for the 2025 AVN and GayVN Awards.
Powers has earned the Best Directing Portfolio - Varied Range nomination for the AVN Awards. He also received nine nominations for the scenes he directed, including Best Blowbang Scene for DFXtra’s "Kenzie Tries a New Liquid Diet," Best Double-Penetration Sex Scene for DFXtra’s "Making a Living Out of DP's," Best Foursome/Orgy Scene for DFXtra’s "Lexi Lore’s Rebound Gangbang," Best Trans Group Sex Scene for Accidental Gangbang/Adult Time’s "Bachelor Party Surprise - A Jim Powers Spotlight," Best Trans Group Sex Scene for Gender X’s "Trans Rave - Scene 1," Best Trans Movie or Collected Release for Gender X’s "Space Trans" and "Trans Rave," Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene for Gender X’s "Trans Campers" and "Trans Slumber Party - Scene 4."

Powers also received three GayVN award nominations for Best Directing - Feature for BiPhoria’s "Gilligan’s Bi-Land - A Parody" and three nominations for Best Bi Sex Scene for three BiPhora projects "Saying Goodbi" with Cliff Jensen, Thalia Rhea, and Roman Todd, "Gilligan's Bi-Land - A Parody" with Colby Jansen, Lauren Phillips, and Joel Someone, and "Wanna Cum Bi? 2" with Rodrigo Amor, Aliya Brynn, and Steve Rickz.
