LOS ANGELES—Veteran director Jim Powers' Gender X Films feature “Transpirella” has been nominated for Best Video at the fan-voted 2026 Bazowie Awards.
Inspired by the cut classic comic book Vampirella, "Transpirella" was Jim Power’s passion project of 2025 with an all-star cast including Ariel Demure in the title role, Joel Someone as Dr. Van Helsing, and Dom Cruise as Dracula. Other cast members include Kasey Kei, Gracie Jane, Jade Venus, Gal Ritchie, Haven Rose, Avery Lust, and Andylynn Payne in the tale of Transpirella, who sets out to save the Earth, using her charm and strength to outmaneuver her foes.
