LOS ANGELES—Veteran director/producer Jim Powers, aka Jim Lane, is set to hit the stage with his punk rock band Killroy Wednesday, April 1 at the iconic Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip.
The band—featuring Powers on bass, Tom De Spain, Eric Troop and drummer Doug Polito—will have a one-night-only show featuring new and old tracks from the band's repertoire. The band comes to the club after a recent standing room-only performance at the Corbin Bowl in Tarzana.
“The Whisky is one of our favorite spots to play, and we’re psyched to be back on the same legendary stage as the Ramones, The Germs, and countless others," Powers said. "We’re honored Guttermouth added us to the bill as a special guest and we’re ready to bring the chaos."
Doors open at 6 p.m. Killroy goes on stage before Guttermouth at 9 p.m. The show is open to all ages. The Whisky a Go Go is located at 8901 W. Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA 90069. Advance tickets are available here and at the door.
Killroy’s albums, EPs and singles are available on Apple Music for free and for purchase at the iTunes Store.
