Island Conference Becomes Newest ASACP In-Kind Media Sponsor

LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has named Island Conference as its newest In-Kind Media Sponsor.

Now in its 30th year, ASACP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting online child safety by proactively helping parents and businesses protect children from online harms.

ASACP’s sponsors are industry leaders recognized for their significant contributions to corporate responsibility, ethical business practices, and the implementation of procedural and technical measures that ensure child safety. These measures aim to protect minors and other vulnerable users from accidental exposure to age-restricted online content.

ASACP’s newest In-Kind Media Sponsor, i-Con/Island Conference, is a Cyprus-based event that brings together professionals from online high-growth industries, including iGaming, growth strategies, online payments, AI, SEO, and tech. It’s designed as a space to Learn, Meet & Connect, with a focus on responsible growth and long-term sustainability across the sectors.

Developed to enable real connections and measurable results, i-Con attracts more than 3,000 attendees, including over 120 exhibitors and sponsors from a range of high-risk, high-reward industries. With 50 speakers presenting across seven stages, expanded exhibition areas, dedicated meeting points, a full schedule of side events, and more, i-Con’s focused sessions cover SEO, iGaming, growth strategies, online payments, and the latest in AI and tech.

The next i-Con is set for May 28-29 in Limassol, Cyprus.

An event spokesperson explained, "We believe that protecting minors online is a shared responsibility that starts with awareness, accountability, and action from all stakeholders. Creating awareness and taking active steps to keep children away from inappropriate content is a shared responsibility across the industry."

ASACP’s executive director, Tim Henning, expressed gratitude for Island Conference becoming the newest stakeholder.

Henning expressed, "The dedication of these industry leaders to safeguarding young people’s innocence, while honoring adults’ choices, is creating a notable difference."

ASACP’s sponsors and members supply the reach and resources required for the association to provide free child protection tools to educators, parents, and media publishers. These include Best Practices customized for various market segments and a versatile Code of Ethics for all website and app publishers. These resources enable companies of all sizes to prevent minors from accessing age-restricted content.

Among ASACP’s key accomplishments are its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system, designed to block children from adult web pages and apps, and its CSAM Reporting Tipline, which has handled 1.3 million reports since its launch.

Henning concluded, "Protecting the innocence of youth online isn’t just about preventing access to the most mature content. It also involves educating and empowering all industries that feature age-restricted or other adult-themed topics. Here, Island Conference’s support will significantly benefit the association."
