Holly Randall Talks Sex Work Portrayals With Elle

LOS ANGELES—Holly Randall appears in a new Elle article, titled “Real OnlyFans Creators React to 'Euphoria' and 'Margo’s Got Money Troubles,'" offering her perspective on how mainstream film and television continue to portray sex work and creator culture.

In the piece, Randall says the “portrayal of sex work in mainstream media rarely is" accurate or flattering, pushing back on the gap between how creator platforms are dramatized onscreen and how the work actually functions in real life.

Randall also warns that “too many people are led to believe it is easy money,” stressing that the business demands far more labor and strategy than pop culture often suggests. At the same time, she notes that OnlyFans has become “part of the pop-culture vernacular,” even as the platform continues to face moral panic and public misunderstanding.

The feature places Randall alongside other creators reacting to recent storylines in Euphoria and Margo’s Got Money Troubles, with discussion centered on sex work, entrepreneurship, and the persistence of stigma around adult creators. Read the full feature on Elle.com.
