LOS ANGELES—Holly Randall Productions took top honors at the 2025 AVN Awards Show, earning Best Featurette and Best Screenplay–Featurette for "Broken Butterfly: The Perfect Shade of Blu."
Jeffrey John Hart, who directed the psychological erotic thriller, was honored by AVN alongside co-writers Kyle McQueen and Tanner Moody for the script about a young woman named Juliet (Jewelz Blu) whose carefully structured life begins to unravel when suppressed memories and strange encounters force her to confront a past she thought was behind her.
The featurette's cast includes Charlotte Sins, Codey Steele, Casey Calvert, Lumi Ray, Lexi Luna, and Seth Gamble.
Said Randall, who produced the featurette in association with XSweet, "This recognition from AVN is truly special, not just for me, but for everyone who poured their hearts into 'Broken Butterfly.' It is so rewarding to be acknowledged in the industry with these wins. I’m so proud of this film, of Jeffrey’s vision as a director, and the powerful screenplay that Jeffrey, Kyle, and Tanner brought to life. Thank you so much."
Hart added, "I’m still in shock. These two AVN awards were our first. To win Best Featurette was amazing. I think Kyle and I are really honored to have won for screenplay. Together with Tanner, we put an outrageous amount of time into perfecting the story. A great film starts with a great script, but a great script requires a talented cast and a brilliant crew. I’m thankful that we had all three of those. Thank you to Kyle, Holly, Robert at Studio NV, and of course Jewelz Blu."
