HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Acclaimed filmmaker Harry Sparks has received a 2025 Urban X Awards nomination in the Fan Favorite Director category.
The nomination highlights Sparks' diverse body of work, from erotic parodies like "Beetlejuice XXX: A Porn Parody" and "Wednesday XXX: A Porn Parody" to high-profile featurettes for Elegant Angel, including "Rest in Pieces" and "A Naughty Christmas Carol."

Sparks is also preparing for the upcoming sequel to his mainstream slasher flick Scissors, titled Scissors 2. The original film is now streaming on Tubi. Scissors follows college student Courtney and her friends as they’re hunted by a killer clown known only as "Scissors." The cast features Jill Kassidy, Avery Jane, Blake Blossom, Alex Coal, Tommy Pistol, Katie Morgan, Annie Cruz, James Bartholet, Lily Bell, Misty Stone, and Scotty Schwartz (The Toy, A Christmas Story). Scissors 2 is currently in pre-production and will begin shooting this fall.
