VALENCIA, Calif. —Girlfriends Films Editor Marla Diamond has selected the National Alliance to End Homelessness as the GFF Charity of the Month. The organization, which campaigns to improve policy, build capacity, and educate opinion leaders, will receive a $1,000 donation from Girlfriends Films on behalf of Marla.
“Most of the charities on the list we were given are amazingly worthwhile causes, and it is very difficult to pick just one,” admitted Marla. “I have chosen the National Alliance to End Homelessness, as I am so saddened by the fact I see homeless people on the streets almost every day, sometimes mentally ill and/or in bad shape. I believe one of the most basic needs is for each person to have a home, and preferably one that is as safe and as comfortable as possible.”

Marla continued, “Although I don't know much about this charity, it had an A+ rating on CharityWatch.org, and I am sure they will use the donation towards the goal of ending homelessness, as their name implies.”
