LOS ANGELES—Fans Only: The Human Side of Porn and Fans Only 2: Dreams, Fame & Desire (Vandercom Films) won the XRCO Award for Mainstream Crossover of the Year or Documentary of the Year.
In the series, director Joel Van der Molen teamed up with Tommy Gunn to challenge stereotypes, uncover personal stories, and explore the human side of the adult industry.
Said Van der Molen, "Winning this award for Fans Only is a real honor and a reflection of the trust the performers placed in me to tell their stories honestly. I also reinforce my belief that there’s powerful human storytelling to be found in every corner of the industry when it’s approached with respect and curiosity."
