LAS VEGAS—Emma Hix was honored with her first AVN Award in the Best POV Sex Scene category for her "Emma Hix POV Anal," a Jules Jordan Video scene, co-starring with studio head Jordan himself. Hix also served as a presenter at the 2025 AVN Awards.
Hix said, "This is incredible. Thank you so much AVN and the entire team over there. This is my first AVN Award, as I enter my ninth year in the industry. After wanting one so badly for years, 2025 was the year where I was actually just chill about it and ready to accept whatever happened, and then I won! I’m really, really proud of this award and I am so grateful that AVN saw how hard I worked on that scene."
She added, "I knew right away the scene was special. It was very passionate and intimate, unlike a lot of things Jules is famous for. This looked like a real couple experiencing that moment, in my opinion. It was really passionate. I’ve known Jules for years and I am honored that he has chosen me as talent and scene-partner many times. And now I get to share this award with him, which he can add to his impressive collection."
Hix said that POV is one of her specialties where she can "absolutely bring it."
Hix laughed and said, "What’s not to like? I get to take the reins. I’m very comfortable interacting with the camera and making the viewer feel like I’m right there, up-close with them. With boy/girl, I feel more shy, but with POV, I’m in the zone. I feel like I’m taking control."
During the awards ceremony, Hix took the stage wearing a gold chain gown, helping present Best Girl/Girl, Best Leading Actor, and the Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy.
Hix noted, "Oh, that dress… I originally bought three dresses. The first two were pretty, but not presenter-worthy. And then the gold one fit like a glove. It was incredibly heavy, though. I actually had to go to the chiropractor today, but it was totally worth it! If there’s an award for that, I hope I win it."
