LAS VEGAS—German trans performer Emily Adaire has won Best Non-US Performer at the 2025 Trans Erotica Awards (TEAs).
Adaire, active in the industry since 2020, was unable to attend due to political restrictions but shared her message in a video speech. She highlighted the challenges trans performers face and the importance of the TEAs.
Said Adaire, "This event means so much to me. When I came here for the first time in 2022, I didn't know anyone. And now I have so many friends in the audience and I think that's really beautiful. Please remember that loving yourself in a world that hates you is an act of rebellion."
