CHATSWORTH, CA — The Innocence of Youth, a new Digital Sin title set to release on February 2, brings feature film quality and high artistic integrity to four unique stories. Director Eddie Powell says he has reinvented what has become standard for most all-sex releases by elevating these stories to a level rarely seen in the adult market today.
Starring relative newcomers Riley Reid, Chastity Lynn, Gia Steel and cover girl Kendall Karson, The Innocence of Youth delivers four outstanding performances with an emphasis on heightened sexuality from forbidden encounters with older men. The dynamics in each scene centers around themes involving illicit relationships, dominance and submission, and control and manipulation. Without the use of any dialogue, these stories are told through the silent interactions of the performers, enriched by the use of cinematography and lighting.
The film has a look and feel that is more art-house theatre than what we’ve come to expect from an adult release. Powell says, “Most of the scenes I’ve directed begin with brief dialogue or a strip tease before the action escalates into sex,” Powell explains. “This time, I wanted to create a film in which the visuals did the talking-where the lighting and camera angles helped to tell their own story about what was going on. Sometimes dialogue is unnecessary in capturing those raw, heated moments that happen between two performers in an adult scene. I am confident that people will agree with that after watching The Innocence of Youth.”
