CHICAGO, IL—The 2013 CineKink Festival makes a sexy stop in the Windy City after a sold-out screening in Oakland, as its national tour brings the one-night screening of sex-positive and kink-friendly films to Chicago on Saturday, September 21. CineKink: Chicago will begin at 7 pm with a screening of the Best of CineKink/2013, followed by the full-length, audience-award-winning film Remedy, at 9 pm. All screenings will take place at Leather Archives and Museum.
“Our collaboration with the Leather Archives has been an amazing, long-standing partnership,” says Lisa Vandever, Co-Founder and Director of CineKink. “They’ve been a wonderful repeat sponsor of the CineKink national tour, and we’re delighted to bring the screenings to their home town yet again for Chicago kinksters.”
The Leather Archives and Museum is located at 6418 N Greenview Ave, Chicago, IL. For more information, click here or visit CineKink: Chicago’s social media event pages on Facebook and FetLife.
Tickets are available at the door for both screenings at $10 per screening. Advance tickets are available at either $8 per screening, or $15 for both the shorts program and the feature. Advance tickets may be purchased via Eventbrite.
CineKinksters and Leather Archive members are also offered a discounted price for the double-feature via a discount code at the Eventbrite page. To become a CineKinkster, click here. To become a LA&M member, click here. As with all CineKink events, screenings are limited to those 18 and older.
In addition to venue host the Leather Archives and Museum, local sponsors Pleasure Chest Chicago and Early to Bed will be running ticket giveaway contests now till September 20, and will also be providing raffle prizes for those who attend the Chicago screenings.
The Best of CineKink/2013 short films program is comprised of productions awarded prizes by CineKink jurors at the annual CineKink NYC festival, which takes place each year in late February. With works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit, this year’s edition includes 50 Seconds of 50 Shades (Bo Blaze), Naked Love: Ea’s Garden (Sara Kimmel), Impact (Mollena Williams), Rift (Keith Hodder), Ritual (Jörg Fockele), Zucht Und Ordnung (Jan Soldat), Amber (Aven Frey, Gala Vanting, and Frank Ly), Krutch (Clark Matthews), and Pinecone (Michael Markham).
Immediately following the shorts program, CineKink will present the award-winning dramatic feature Remedy, from filmmaker Cheyenne Picardo. Based on her personal experiences in the world of professional domination and submission, Remedy received an Audience Choice Award for Best Narrative Feature at the New York festival.
