TORRANCE, Calif. — Cassia Walton, aka Taryn, is now a Manager in Training at the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club in Torrance. Cassia — Spearmint Rhino’s Entertainer of the Year in 2007 — joins a growing trend of entertainers who trade in their skimpy outfits and platform heels for management positions.
Cassia is learning all the skills and responsibilities she’ll need to manage a club soon. “It’s definitely a change for me,” admits Cassia. “I’m learning a lot from management here and it’s sometimes easier for me to get along with the girls because I know what they’re going through. They confide in me.”
The Spearmint Rhino in Torrance has a full bar, which is an additional aspect Cassia is learning about. She’s learning everything from P & L statements, pour costs and purchasing to running the club’s day to day operations.
“Cassia is a true asset because she knows both sides of the business,” says Shawn Marcano, general manager of the Spearmint Rhino Torrance. “She’s a hard worker and deals with the waitress and bar staff exceptionally well. I can’t wait to see her running a Spearmint Rhino one day.”
