LAS VEGAS—Latina adult performer Carmela Clutch appeared on the Los Angeles-based, sex-positive podcast, "Sapphires Earplay."
Podcast host Mehgan Sapphire said, "She's the Queen of Sweaty Sex and truly loves coffee dates with her fans."
Clutch and Sapphire talked about how fan interactions can cross personal boundaries, how anger versus seriousness can be perceived differently for women of color, and the key role vulnerability plays in deeper relationships.
On dating, Clutch shared, "I've been saying for years that I don't want to date anyone because I know I have really shitty taste in men and like, ugh, and my fans just want to see me happy the more that they get to know me, they just want to see me fall in love because I am a lover girl."
"I took a step back to redirect my brand. I kept being casted in milf roles and I didn't feel like enough of a MILF. I decided to take a step back to grow my platform," Clutch said of her mainstream return and brand evolution.
Clutch also talked about platform dynamics and said, "I love that it's provided a voice to my fans to feel empowered that they can go to a company and say, we demand Carmella Clutch and if we don't get her, we'll just go to her site."
Clutch also revealed her sexual identity and openness. She expressed, "The girls, I love the boys, I love the them theys, I love everyone. I'm pansexual."
She shared her view on spit, "I don't like spit. I don't like the way spit smells. So I don't like being, if you notice in my scenes, I don't let people spit in my face or on my face. You want to spit on my body? Yeah, I don't let someone spit in my mouth or my face."
Clutch opened up about the impact of fans, "I was gonna stop doing 'Coffee with Clutch' because I felt so attacked by people often. And what I found, especially at these conventions, everybody that I met with, damn near every single one of these hundreds of people that came to see me told me how much they really enjoyed 'Coffee with Clutch,' even if they came on for just a few minutes, that seeing me or talking to me or hearing me talk about something that inspired me."
