LOS ANGELES—Blake Lovely’s directorial debut, Once Upon a TS Summer, won Best DVD at the 2026 Trans Erotica Awards.
Said Lovely, "Winning Best DVD at this year's TEA show was beyond a dream come true. I stood on that same stage three years ago for the Hollywood Independent Music Awards right before I left the music industry to pursue a career in Adult Film. I was the only trans person in that room during that time. To go from that to achieving this, surrounded by so many people I would consider family."
Once Upon a TS Summer follows the coming-of-age adventures of the main character, Lovely, during her final summer before graduating from college, featuring an all-star cast of performers. The Grooby release is produced by Brah Bones, with cinematography by director of photography Aiden Starr. The movie is available for purchase at all major online retailers, including Grooby DVD.
Lovely added, "It truly was a mind-blowing journey making this feature with all of these wonderful stars: Haven Rose, Jade Venus, Aubrey Kate, Foxxy, Draven Navarro, Sage Roux, Pierce Paris, Derek Kage, Steve Rickz, Tony Sting, Adam X, Silas Stone, and Tony Sting. I owe you guys the world! Aiden Starr and Marc Kramer, you both pushed my performance and work ethic to another level. It took a village, but we did it together!"
Once Upon a TS Summer celebrated its win in a historic tie with Gender X Films’ Transpirella.
