CALABASAS, Calif.—Sunday Faire will host the fifth Aether party, "Aether: XXX VHS," featuring Bella Blu on Friday, Aug. 15, from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in Calabasas. This event also serves as her birthday celebration. RSVPs are available now via Partiful.
Aether has grown into one of Sunday Faire’s signature events, with each party showcasing a new theme, immersive decor, and a mix of artists, sex workers, and allies. The "XXX VHS" edition will celebrate the golden era of adult movies—spotlighting the creativity, style, and icons of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Said Blu, "I’m so excited to be hosting with Aether not only because I love what we’ve been doing so far, but to get more people involved. I’m most excited to have all of my friends and colleagues in one place—from music friends and long-time friends to all our amazing sex workers."
Blu, who joined Sunday Faire’s events team earlier this year, personally chose the "XXX VHS" theme for August. Blu explained, "This is a celebration of the porn star icons, sex workers, and crew who paved the way for our industry. Not to mention the incredible style of those decades! This party is our chance to show people what we can do and get them excited about future Sunday Faire and Aether events."
Kasey Warner, executive director of Sunday Faire, added, "We are extremely excited to be featuring Bella Blu as our first Aether party host, and the fact that it’s her birthday is the icing on the cake! It’s been amazing to watch Aether grow bigger and better with each edition, and we can’t wait to keep building on that energy—especially with September’s collaboration with Doxy Magazine."
Before Aether transitions to a more intimate, exclusive format later this year, August’s celebration is expected to be one of the series’ largest yet. Blu hopes guests leave with "A smile on their face, new friends, and amazing memories—not just from a fun, sexy night, but from supporting a nonprofit that uplifts our community."
