SAN FRANCISCO—BasisDx, the makers of PASS-certified at-home STI testing kits, will appear at Exxxotica D.C. this weekend.
Show attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the testing kits, as BasisDx founder and CEO Dr. K and staff host the BasisDx booth at Exxxotica D.C.
Attendees can visit the booth to learn about the Pro13 and Comprehensive 8 testing kits and the importance of knowing their STI status. Additionally, there will also be demonstrations of the new Comfort Collect Device, a “faster, painless, no-mess” method for specimen collection with minimized lab rejects and is FDA-approved, a company representative said.
BasisDx merchandise will also be available including caps, bags, cutoff tees, hoodies, and stickers.
“Sex Party with Dustin Rybka” will be broadcasting live from Exxxotica at the BasisDx booth and interviewing adult stars and creators on the showroom floor during the three-day show.
BasisDx/Pro13 is sponsoring the Exxxotica Seminar Series. Slated for several exclusive seminars, Dr. K and Rybka will speak on reducing the stigma for STI testing and the tools needed for safer sex.
Friday, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., Dr. K and Rybka will host, “Fuck Like Pro. Test Like a Pro,” followed by Saturday’s seminar “Safe Sex Is Good Sex,” from 4:20 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. They will also host Sunday’s “Fuck Like a Pornstar & Test Like One, Too” is from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“Exxxotica New Jersey was huge for us. In D.C., we’ll continue to educate at the booth and seminars and demo our Comfort Collect Device. We want performers to know we’re here for them to make testing easier, discreet, quicker, and, of course, accurate. We can’t wait to meet everyone in DC so make sure to stop by the booth,” said Dr. K.
