VALENCIA, Calif.—Girlfriends Films announces the DVD release of Southern Hospitality, a new dark comedy from award-winning director B. Skow and Daddy’s Girls screenwriter David Stanley. Skow for Girlfriends Films’ tale of backwoods bootlegging, polygamy, and hillbilly hijinks offers up a potent double shot of country humor and redneck drama.

“Southern Hospitality is a wild ride I think fans are going to enjoy. It’s less dark than Daddy’s Girls or Homecoming, but it’s every bit as twisted and definitely as sexy,” said B. Skow. “It’s like Sister Wives and Deliverance meet David Stanley’s erotic mind. It was fun to shoot, and I look forward to the feedback.”
Southern Hospitality finds Jon Jo married to three brides named Small, Medium, and Large. On the night of his third wedding, a criminal family of moonshiners known as the Fuggs makes their way onto Jon Jo’s thirty-acre property to set up camp and evade the law. The Fuggs—made up of Mama Fugg and her three sons, Teeny, Tiny, and Mighty—engage in sexual shenanigans with Jon Jo’s brides. Jon Jo goes after the Fuggs, but ends up getting caught. He strikes a deal with the moonshiners, making everyone happy.
Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose offered, “Southern Hospitality is pure hillbilly hilarity. It’s irreverent and outrageous, but ultimately a great comedy with raunchy, rewind-worthy sex. Orders have been strong, and we expect them to stay that way, especially once reviews and word-of-mouth start.”
Southern Hospitality stars Evan Stone as polygamist Jon Jo and Dillion Harper, Ash Hollywood, and Alex Chance as his wives. Darla Crane, Billy Glide, Tommy Pistol, and Richie Calhoun co-star as wanted bootleggers The Fuggs.
