Author Emily Nagoski to Appear at The Ripped Bodice Today
LOS ANGELES—Emily Nagoski, a New York Times best-selling author of the popular books, “Come As You Are” and “Come Together,” will be presenting a special reading and performance at The Ripped Bodice, 3806 Main St., Culver City, at 7 p.m. today with a preview of “Come As You Are: The Musical.”
Emily has been answering people's sex questions for over three decades and is well known in the general populace as well as in the sexual health and wellness field. The presentation of her book adaptation as a musical is the culmination of writing the new version with her twin sister, who is an accomplished musician. Emily will be accompanied by a ukulele. The audience is encouraged to bring their questions as she'll bring songs that answer a dozen or more of the questions she's been answering since before "Sex and the City" was a thing.
A book signing will follow the performance.
