ASACP Returns to Romania for AWSummit in Bucharest

LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will return to Romania for the AWSummit in Bucharest, taking place from September 8 to 10 at the Face Convention Center.

ASACP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting online child safety for over 29 years. It relies on the support of companies, organizations, and individuals committed to protecting children from online harm. A vital component of the association’s mission is to educate the digital media industry about the importance of online child protection and solutions for improving it.

At AWSummit in Bucharest, ASACP’s executive director, Tim Henning, and fundraising director, Michelle Marriott, will attend and be available for meetings with both new and established sponsors.

Said Henning, "AWSummit’s Bucharest event provides the association with a unique opportunity to reach business operators and owners that we might otherwise not be able to. At the crossroads of Europe, the summit unites East and West for common business goals—and with ASACP’s guidance, a chief goal is the protection of children from online harms."

AWSummit is a conference for affiliates and creators that transforms opportunities into success. ASACP’s newest In-Kind Media Sponsor, AWSummit, has organized top-tier B2B conferences, international side events, and custom corporate events since 2014.

AWSummit has attracted more than 20,000 industry professionals over the past decade, helping close deals that have driven millions in revenue growth. Designed as a multi-vertical hub for sharing ideas, knowledge, and building business relationships over three days, AWSummit offers unique keynote speeches, workshops, mastermind sessions, an expo, and networking events.

The conference covers a wide range of niches and industries—from payment processing and cryptocurrency to nutra, e-commerce, dating, iGaming, live cam and fan sites, affiliate marketing, lead generation, and more—offering products and services designed to boost all attendees’ revenue streams.

AWSummit helps affiliates and content creators by providing opportunities to find top-converting promotions, meet affiliate managers and partners in person, and connect with prominent advertisers and networks in their niche. Additionally, affiliates and content creators can learn how to incorporate AI into their work, gain insights from top creators on the types of content that convert best, and receive valuable tips and tricks for growing their profiles and social media channels.

An event spokesperson said, "At AWSummit, you can share and get knowledge from top affiliates about the challenges and solutions related to different traffic sources and find new ways to optimize and scale your affiliate business. While as a content creator, you’ll have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other models and influencers, discover the best platforms for collaboration, and explore new ways to monetize your content."

Tools include free child protection resources for parents, Best Practices tailored to specific adult market segments, and a comprehensive Code of Ethics for all website and mobile app publishers. These vital resources help empower companies of all sizes to prevent minors from accessing age-restricted content.

Henning explained, "These tools are only possible through the continued support of ASACP’s donors. The association’s presence at events such as AWSummit enables us to spread the word about the resources we offer and the benefits they provide, as well as boost our fundraising efforts to continue to develop and deploy these tools."

One of ASACP’s most notable achievements is its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system, which prevents children from accessing adult-oriented web pages and apps. Additionally, its CP Reporting Tipline has processed over 1.25 million reports since its inception and remains a vital global resource.

ASACP’s Exclusive Travel Sponsor, DialXS, is underwriting Henning’s airfare to the venue city of Bucharest.

Henning added, "Positioned at the midpoint of our annual European tour, the AWSummit in Bucharest is set to be a highlight of the association’s outreach on the continent, and a key part of our fundraising efforts. Online child protection is a mission that takes many caring companies and people to push forward. With the help of those whom we will meet in Bucharest, that goal is one step closer to reality."
