ASACP Returns to Prague for TES Conferences
LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) returns to Prague, Czech Republic, for the TES Affiliate Conferences, taking place Sep. 25–28 at the Vienna House Diplomat Hotel.
Now celebrating its 30th year, ASACP is a globally recognized nonprofit dedicated to promoting online child safety by proactively helping parents and businesses protect children from online harms. The association’s free tools, education, and outreach rely on sponsor support.
Founded in 2009, TES Affiliate Conferences is Europe’s largest online industry event. It unites professionals from the adult entertainment industry, e-commerce, financials, gaming, gambling, dating, forex, health, nutraceuticals, and more for an intensive three-day networking conference.
An event spokesperson said, "From the outset, TES Affiliate Conferences was intent on creating a great networking experience for its attendees and delegates. In our high-tech world, it is still of supreme importance that excellent interpersonal relationships are developed and maintained as the cornerstones of building a successful business."
TES has underwritten ASACP executive director Tim Henning and fundraising director Michelle Marriott’s admission and accommodations. TES has also provided the association with complimentary sponsor status and a table at the event’s Meet Market, allowing ASACP to engage business owners and operators face-to-face.
Said Henning, "By informing website operators, app publishers, and other stakeholders about current business standards and practices for legal compliance—particularly concerning age verification and user-generated content—we reinforce efforts to protect children online. TES has historically offered the association an unmatched chance to connect with a highly diverse array of businesses and influencers. This is essential for ASACP’s European outreach, as well as our educational and fundraising initiatives."
ASACP’s exclusive travel sponsor, DialXS, is underwriting Henning and Marriott’s airfare and travel expenses to and from Prague.
Henning added, "Thanks to DialXS and the promoters of the TES Affiliate Conferences, ASACP will once again meet in person with top business leaders as well as newcomers to the industry across a range of relevant market segments. This is an ideal chance to communicate the association’s stance on preventing children and sensitive viewers from accessing adult-oriented entertainment, and we strongly urge everyone to join us in Prague to learn more."
Part of ASACP’s goal at these events is to raise awareness of its free child protection resources for parents and industry operators, including a broad range of best practices tailored to specific market segments and a comprehensive Code of Ethics for content creators and website and app publishers. Among ASACP’s most notable achievements are its RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system, which prevents children from accessing adult-oriented web pages and apps, and its CSAM Reporting Tipline, which has received and processed more than 1.3 million reports since its inception.
Henning shared, "ASACP offers tools and expertise to safeguard children online. Beyond these resources, the dedication and backing of stakeholders are essential to advance the industry toward a safer future for children and adults alike, and events like TES significantly contribute to their success.”
