LOS ANGELES—Trans performer Ariel Demure spoke at Dr. Constance Penley’s Film and Media Studies Class at UC Santa Barbara.
Demure was joined by writer, multimedia artist, and filmmaker Oliver Florence and The Rub PR owner Erika Icon on May 26 at the university's Carsey-Wolf Center to discuss Demure's upcoming movie, The Naughty Nanny. A SFW version of the film was screened for Film and Media Studies students, followed by a Q&A on its production, promotion, distribution, and their careers in the adult industry.
“I was really honored to be asked back and was glad Oliver was able to join us, since he made the intro to The Naughty Nanny and co-wrote the script," Demure said. "He just graduated from college, so I’m sure he was inspiring for the students, as was Erika, who is also behind the scenes."
