LOS ANGELES—Ameena Green has announced two major career milestones. Green has officially signed with the Spiegler Agency for representation, while also landing a lead role in an upcoming Digital Playground feature, Synthesis. The feature is directed by award-winning director Ricky Greenwood and stars Seth Gamble, Chloe Foxxe, Gizelle Blanco, and Isaiah Maxwell.
Synthesis explores the potential benefits and complexities of artificial intelligence. Green plays an AI being created by Gamble for his own pleasure and control.
The feature marks a pivotal moment for Green in her career. Initially cast as a supporting character in Synthesis, Green was promoted to lead when casting conflicts arose. She embraced the challenge by memorizing multiple pages of script in record time. Reflecting on this opportunity, Green shared her enthusiasm for working with co-star Gamble and praised his dedication to acting and directing.
Said Green, "Seth Gamble was amazing. I was super excited to work with Seth. Watching him get into character and witnessing his passion and professionalism for acting, as well as directing, was an incredible learning experience."
