AMARGOSA VALLEY, Nev.—The sci-fi-themed legal brothel Alien Cathouse is making its bid to become Nevada's newest tourist destination for couples, singles, and guys’ weekends.
Located near Area 51 and Death Valley, the brothel is also close to the Longstreet Hotel Casino & Resort, where visitors can dine, play golf the next day, or get back on the road and, in under an hour, arrive at Death Valley for a few days of camping.
Multiple travel guides, including TripAdvisor, Thrillist, Afar, and Agoda, recommend Alien Cathouse and Area 51, calling it “The Ultimate Alien-Themed Adventure.” Facebook has groups devoted to it.
“We would love for more people to view Alien Cathouse as a tourist destination since Area 51 is right next door and Longstreet Hotel Casino & Resort is down the street," said Alien Cathouse owner Ray. "Plus, they can extend their stay by a few days with a camping trip in Death Valley. It’s a different kind of getaway but appeals to couples, singles, and groups of guys.
