LOS ANGELES—Alexis Fawx and Armani Black make their Bellesa Plus debuts in a new installment of Blind Date, the reality-inspired series that pairs performers on dates.
The series is reminiscent of dating shows in which singles question one another from opposite sides of a partition until the reveal. Unlike those shows, however, Blind Date follows with an unscripted hookup. To watch the scene, visit BellesaPlus.co.
Director Shawn Alff said the energy on set was apparent from the beginning.
“Alexis Fawx is always a ball of energy, and she only amps it up when she's paired with Armani Black,” said Alff. “It was hard keeping them quiet so they didn't reveal there were multiple women involved, and even harder stopping them from joking around when John was on the other side of the wall.”
The reveal itself became one of the standout moments.
“When the reveal finally happened, I don't think I've ever seen a performer more stunned or happier,” Alff said. “It was overwhelming in the best possible way. I don't think he expected someone as hot as Alexis or Armani, let alone both of them together. He definitely rose to the occasion. I still remember him saying, 'Oh wow, oh wow.'”
For Armani Black, the shoot was memorable from the moment she learned John Legendary would be joining them.
“Working with John Legendary and Alexis Fawx was an incredible experience,” Black said. “The reveal was actually a double surprise and I was excited to find out I’d be working with both of them.
“They’re incredibly talented, professional and brought amazing energy to the set. The chemistry felt natural, and the atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and full of positive energy from start to finish.”
Black added, “I’d also like to give a special thank you to Shawn for bringing everything together and helping make the experience so seamless. It was a memorable shoot, and I’m grateful to have been part of it.”
