LOS ANGELES—Newcomer Aleksa Mink makes her Pure Taboo debut in “What She Would Have Wanted.”
The scene tells the story of Martin (Jason Sarcinelli), a widower struggling to cope after losing his wife in a traffic accident. Living alone with his stepdaughter Violet (Mink), his quiet mourning takes an unexpected turn as he encourages Violet to mirror traits of her late mother, culminating in an intimate and unusually romantic dinner that brings everything into the open.
