MONTREAL—Adult Time has released on YouTube a behind-the-scenes documentary of “The Growth,” the latest episode of its anthology series Under the Bed.
The project features scenes from the episode starring Lulu Chu, Penny Barber, and Sophia Locke, with behind-the-scenes coverage shot by Adult Time Ambassador and Social Media Producer Alison Rey. The video provides a glimpse into the making of a full-scale body-horror porn narrative, featuring interviews with cast members, writer-director Bree Mills, cinematographer Michael Vegas, practical effects artist Bawdy by Gabe, and editor Remzy Jizz.
“‘The Growth’ is exactly the kind of boundary-pushing project we love taking on at Adult Time,” said Mills, chief creative officer at Adult Time. “This project brought together an incredibly dedicated team who all leaned into the challenge of crafting a full-scale body-horror narrative. The behind-the-scenes documentary really captures that spirit of experimentation and collaboration, and we’re excited for fans to see just how much artistry goes into our projects.”
Ray said she was excited to be a part of the effort. “Working on this project was a refreshing departure from the fast pace of short-form social media content,” she explained. “Being able to capture my colleagues through a more authentic, cinematic lens—and offer a genuine glimpse into our day-to-day creative environment—was incredibly rewarding. This project allowed me to showcase more organic moments, as well as my own camera work and artistic vision beyond my usual TikTok videos. I’m genuinely excited for everyone to experience this project and see the passion that went into making it.”
