LOS ANGELES—Abigaiil Morris recently joined host Heidi Hedquist and Luke Poling on "Why? The Podcast" to reflect on hosting the 2026 AVN Awards and the journey that took her from silent panic attacks to commanding the stage at the awards ceremony.
In the episode "AVN Awards Host Abigaiil Morris," the starlet shared how learning she would co-host the ceremony nearly a year in advance created intense pressure leading up to the event.
Said Morris, "From June to July you just have a bunch of panic attacks pretty much. That’s kind of just what you do… silent alone panic attacks, except I had my co-host [ItsLo] so we had panic attacks with each other, which was lovely."
Despite her struggle with stage fright, Morris pushed through the experience. She added, "I figured out a method to get rid of my stage fright. I wore nude panties under my dress and had a very high slit, so I convinced myself everybody was too busy trying to see my vagina and they were not listening to me."
By the end of the night, the performer who once worried she would "stutter" or "have a heart attack" on stage discovered something unexpected. She said, "I fell in love with it actually. I want to be on stage…talking and looking cute and bouncing around. It’s amazing."
