Toronto Subway System Displays Gay-Porn Ad
Posters promoted hardcore site during gay-pride celebrations.
TORONTO - Maleflixxx achieved a first in mainstream advertising in July: posters promoting a hardcore gay adult website in Toronto's public subway system.
The MaleFlixxx posters were displayed at selected subway stations during Toronto's monthlong gay-pride celebrations.
"Canada has a strong social history of supporting minority rights. We were one of the first countries to legalize same-sex spousal rights and then gay marriage," said Eric Johnson, president of Sureflix Digital Distribution, which owns the MaleFlixxx global network. "This city's support of the gay community is second to none and includes the willingness of the mainstream press and city authorities to not only recognize its existence, but support its growth."
