LAS VEGAS—Adult copyright watchdog Takedown Piracy has announced that it has entered into an ongoing agreement with Clips4Sale (C4S) to protect C4S producers’ content, at no cost to its content producers, with the company's proven anti-piracy services.
"We were thrilled when Clips4Sale asked us to provide comprehensive content protection for their producers, as too many such platforms do not afford more than the appearance of anti-piracy benefits, if any, at all,” said Reba Rocket, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Takedown Piracy. “We knew it would be an enormous undertaking, but we were absolutely prepared for the task!”
Since July of 2020, Takedown Piracy has worked to digitally fingerprint all 7+ million videos in the C4S catalog, which are now included in its Digital Fingerprint monitoring, and other seek/find/takedown protocols. The fingerprinting technology, provided by Takedown Piracy’s tech partner Clip Sentry, does not require the cooperation of the 130 monitored tube sites. This technology, along with Takedown Piracy’s other multi-pronged approaches, and proprietary software and protocols, has allowed Takedown Piracy to identify and remove more than 3 million infringing videos across thousands of sites for Clips4Sale, including such destinations as tubes, torrents, file lockers, forums, blogs, and search engines. With this agreement, Clips4Sale producers receive protection just by uploading to the C4S site, without the need to spend a minute to search and report abuse themselves.
“With our growth at C4S, we decided we needed to invest in protecting our producers in an industry-leading way, no matter if our producers uploaded elsewhere,” said Darius, C4S General Manager, “and with Takedown Piracy, we knew they had the same industry-leading approach with their technology, skill, and drive to protect content.”
Whenever Takedown Piracy is contacted by an individual content producer who does not work with Clips4Sale or one of Takedown Piracy’s other clip-store clients, Takedown Piracy recommends that they do consider working via a platform like C4S.
“Occasionally, we have a new independent producer who, for whatever reason, wants to stay with their current platform, but wishes to receive Takedown Piracy’s services,” said Rocket. “Takedown Piracy does offer affordable solutions for those producers.”
