LOS ANGELES—SWR Data, the adult industry’s premier market research firm, is releasing key data insights from its annual "State of the Creator" survey through social media, public events, and the SWR mailing list. The company surveyed over 550 adult creators during Fall 2025 to understand how the creator economy is changing.
This year’s "State of the Creator" raised over $8,000 for nonprofits serving sex workers, thanks to commitments from Chaturbate and Stripchat, which matched the SWR’s donations. Each survey generated $15 for groups including Free Speech Coalition, Pineapple Support, SWOP, SWAID, BIPOC Collective, and Red Canary Song.
“This is the most in-depth research yet on creators and the creator economy,” said MelRose Michaels, co-founder of SWR Data.
“We’re seeing critical trends emerge in how creators are earning money and what’s driving them when choosing partners and platforms," explained Michaels. "We’re so thankful for the creators who participated, and for the sponsors who helped us use the survey to raise money for organizations in need.”
