CHARLOTTE, N.C.—RealTouch, the high-tech personal device for men from online video-on-demand leader AEBN, is earning praise as one of the hottest intimate product introductions of 2009.
RealTouch simulates the authentic warmth, moistness and relative motion of a sexual encounter the user is watching on his computer screen. It synchronizes the sensations he feels with online adult movies through the use of proprietary haptic technology developed by a former NASA affiliated engineer.
Radio icon Howard Stern received an early Christmas present of a RealTouch from Lisa Ann, star of the adult video parody Who's Nailin' Paylin?, who recently signed on to promote the device. After viewing the product she presented to him during her recent appearance on his Sirius/XM show, Stern joked with his listeners: “This is what I’ve been waiting for all my life!”
Hustler magazine called RealTouch the “future of sex” and Fleshbot said simply, “it's one of the most remarkable male sex toys we've ever seen.” The ultimate gadget site, Gizmodo, dubbed RealTouch a “video-synchronized masturbator” while Kansas City radio host Johnny Dare said, “I don’t know if this isn’t the greatest technological achievement of all time.” Lisa Ann also demonstrated RealTouch on the Covino & Rich radio show on Sirius/XM, after which the duo decided it was a “kick ass device.” Creative Loafing said, “There’s a magical new device that advances the art of self-gratification. Media interest in RealTouch has been high and the device is anticipated to draw large crowds when it is displayed at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (Booth 2031) at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas January 7-10, 2010. A sneak preview of RealTouch was a highlight of the event last year.
Adult film studios are eager to get their products encoded for use with RealTouch, since it will operate only with specially encoded VOD movies and therefore eliminates the consequence of piracy.
