LOS ANGELES—Holodex has relaunched, unveiling a discovery and booking platform aimed at solving one of the adult industry's biggest challenges: helping performers get noticed.
As the creator economy grows, performers face saturation and limited visibility. Holodex offers to provide a discovery layer that helps them be found for who they are, not just their links.
At the centre of the relaunch is a swipe-based discovery system bringing a familiar, Tinder-like interaction model to performer discovery—giving users an intuitive, visual way to browse talent in an industry that has historically lacked structured discovery.
The platform also introduces Performer HQ, a dedicated dashboard where talent can manage their profile, publish content, and control how they appear within discovery. Early-stage booking functionality is now live, enabling studios and collaborators to connect with performers through a single platform.
Holodex will begin onboarding its first wave of talent through a “Founding Performer” phase, with the first 100 performers invited to join the platform and help shape its early ecosystem. Founding performers receive a permanent badge, increased visibility, priority placement in discovery, and early access to upcoming booking features.
Early usage indicates strong repeat engagement, driven by the platform’s visual browsing experience.
“Right now, performers are buried under algorithms they don’t control, spread across platforms that weren’t built for this industry,” said the founder of Holodex. “We’re building the missing layer where discovery actually works, and performers control how they’re seen.”
The relaunch marks the return of a concept originally developed over 15 years ago, rebuilt from the ground up to meet the realities of today’s creator economy and the growing demand for independent infrastructure within the adult industry.
