NEW YORK—Assylum.com has implemented a state-of-the-art age verification system across its member sites. This custom solution is designed to comply with domestic and international regulations while maximizing user engagement.
In addition to standard verification options, Assylum’s system incorporates a cascading geolocation process to maximize the successful identification of visitors' regions. Visitors are then presented with engaging, brand-appropriate age-verification screens designed to make the experience as seamless as possible. If a visitor's location is incorrectly identified, the system provides an option to file a report with customer support. The system also allows selected regions to be fully blocked. Finally, the system includes a full suite of analytics to track engagement.
According to Dr. Mercies, producer of Assylum.com, "We could not find any satisfactory solution on my market. So we reached out to the finest programmer we know, Ross at MAS CMS, for help. Over an intensive three-month period, Ross engineered a solution that we felt did the best job possible of holding onto potential customers from age-verification regions.
Ross said, "The system has been created to be fully integrated with membership sites powered by MAS CMS, but its modular design allows for implementation with other content management systems too."
