ULoversDoll Introduces Evas Doll's Voice-Controlled Leg Movement
CALIFORNIA—ULoversDoll introduces the Evas Doll 6-DOF Voice-Controlled Motorized Leg Joint System, designed to simplify changing selected leg positions without repeatedly lifting and manually adjusting the doll’s internal skeleton.
The system uses six electric motors—four controlling the hip joints and two controlling the knees—to perform selected preset leg movements. Once connected to an external DC power source, users can activate supported movements using voice commands. The feature is currently available for Evas Doll’s 170-centimeter (5.57 feet) and 182-centimeter (5.9 feet) body models.
For many owners of larger full-size dolls, changing poses means manually moving the legs and adjusting the internal skeleton. With the Evas system, users can issue supported commands for movements such as lifting either leg, straightening the legs, spreading the thighs, and moving into other preset positions.
Zhou, development manager at ULoversDoll, said, "One of the biggest advantages is convenience. This isn’t designed to turn the doll into a fully autonomous robot. Its purpose is much more practical: helping reduce the amount of manual repositioning required when changing certain leg positions."
The system combines traditional mechanical doll joints with electric motors, a control system, and voice interaction, allowing some movements that would normally require manual adjustment to be completed electronically. The upgrade operates through an external DC power connection rather than an internal battery and adds approximately 5.7 kilograms (12.57 pounds) to the compatible body. Users should not manually force the motorized joints while the system is powered on; when power is disconnected, the legs can be manually adjusted in a manner similar to a standard EVO skeleton.
Zhou added, "Full-size dolls have traditionally focused on realism, materials, and mechanical articulation. Features like motorized posing introduce a different area of development: making physical interaction with the doll more convenient."
