LOS ANGELES—Sustory, a new direct-to-consumer brand, has launched with a lineup made entirely of medical-grade platinum silicone.
According to the announcement, the brand was built around a recurring shopper problem: customers picking a product that seemed "close enough" on a marketplace listing, only to receive items that didn’t match expectations. Shapes were loosely grouped, sizes described by feel rather than measurement, and materials rarely explained in concrete terms. Sustory’s response was to rebuild the buying experience from the ground up—products organized by sensation rather than shape alone, every listing carrying precise, measured specifications, and the entire catalog produced exclusively in medical-grade platinum silicone, with no exceptions.
Internally, the company treats body-safety as "the entry fee," focusing on texture and construction. Each product uses a dual-density build—a firm inner core wrapped in a soft, velvety outer layer designed to mimic biological give—made from non-porous, hypoallergenic, phthalate-free platinum silicone used in surgical implants. The material is thermally reactive and can be boiled and sterilized without degrading.
Behind the product, Sustory runs a five-step production process: material testing with batch-level logging, 3D modeling and prototype verification, vacuum injection with slow-temperature curing, hand-finishing, and third-party lab testing for tensile strength, tear resistance, heavy metals, phthalates, and allergens—backed by SGS certification.
Since its initial launch on Amazon, Sustory has accumulated more than 2,000 verified reviews at a 4.7-star average and works with more than 500 social media creators producing organic content around its product line. The brand has since expanded into a standalone direct-to-consumer storefront at Sustory.co.
Said Alicia, brand manager of Sustory, "We didn’t set out to be another general pleasure brand. We picked one category and decided to do it properly — real specs, real materials, real process. If something says platinum silicone, it should mean it."
