Romantic Adventures' Tami Rose Publishes New Substack Series

PEARL, Miss.—Romantic Adventures founder Tami Rose has published two new series on her Substack, TamiRoseSaidIt, delving into tarot, pop culture, archetypes, and intimacy.

The first series, "Friday Kaleidoscope," explores the tarot Court Cards through the lens of cultural icons, starting with "Hugh Hefner as the King of Wands."

Rose writes, "Love him or hate him, he proved something important: you don't have to choose between being smart and being sexual. The King of Wands doesn't apologize for taking up space."

Through Hefner, she illustrates how tarot’s Fire King archetype illuminates both legacy and ego. Rose continues, "Hefner changed the world in a bathrobe. The question isn’t whether he was perfect—no king is. The question is: What did he teach us about the power and responsibility that comes with holding fire?"

Rose’s other series, "Micro-Mance Tuesday," taps into a trending Google topic with emotional depth. Rose expresses, "In 2025, everyone’s talking about micro-mance like it’s some cute new dating trend. But most people are missing the point entirely."

"I want poetry when we’re naked. Rumi in the bathtub. Sunday afternoons that stretch into evening because neither of us reaches for our phones," says Rose, redefining micro-mance as intentional presence.

In both series, Rose applies her signature voice, part mystic, part provocateur, to challenge superficial connections and celebrate the sacred in everyday love. Rose asks, "Anyone can text 'good morning,' but who’s going to call you with Rumi? Gaming updates and dad jokes aren’t intimacy. They’re entertainment.”

Rose concludes, "Tarot is the bridge I built between insight and action. Not just to divine your future, but to design it with purpose, power, and archetypal energy."
