LONDON—pjur partnered with "Sex For Breakfast," an event created by multi-award-winning journalist and sex educator Alix Fox that brings conversations about sexuality, relationships, and intimate wellbeing out of the taboo zone. The event took place on July 17 at The Sir Devonshire Square Hotel in London and welcomed around 60 guests.
Fox has covered sexual health and sexual culture for more than 20 years, including as a script consultant for the Netflix series Sex Education, a contributor to BBC Radio 1, Channel 4, and Audible, a sex columnist for The Guardian, and a current PhD researcher at the UCL Institute for Global Health studying HIV prevention and care.
Every two months, Fox brings together experts, media professionals and personalities from modern pop culture, and sexual wellness to openly discuss topics that are often still considered taboo—over coffee and croissants. Alongside other partners, pjur supported the latest edition of the event and contributed a selection of products.
After networking and breakfast at the latest session, Fox hosted a one-hour conversation with British comedian and author Grace Campbell. Topics included sexual autonomy, sexual violence, abortion, and the challenges of navigating relationships with ADHD.
Afterwards, guests had the opportunity to ask Campbell their own questions and actively participate in the discussion. Fox also offered insight on intimate wellbeing and the conscious use of the products in the goodie bags.
As a partner of the event, pjur provided high-quality personal lubricants in the goodie bags. These were complemented by lingerie from Bluebella and products from Je Joue’s new ILY range. The pjur products received positive feedback from guests, and Fox highlighted their quality during the event.
The next "Sex For Breakfast" edition will take place on Sep. 11, when Fox will welcome British TV presenter and actor Ore Oduba, who will speak about his personal experience with compulsive pornography use.
