BROOKLYN PARK, Minn.—Like A Kitten has sponsored the Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGen Action) chapter at Columbia University, the first commitment in its planned 2026 PPGen Action Sponsorship Network.
The partnership was initiated after Eva Abrego, co-president of PPGen Action at Columbia University, reached out to Like A Kitten following recent federal budget cuts affecting campus-based advocacy organizations.
“As a chapter affiliated with the Planned Parenthood of Greater New York Action Fund, we are proud to advocate for and protect reproductive rights,” said Abrego. “With continued federal attacks on reproductive rights and education, it is critical to build networks of care that ensure students have access to resources, information, and bodily autonomy.”
Upon learning of the chapter’s funding challenges, Like A Kitten Co-Founder Natalie Annis committed to restoring the lost funds and expanded the sponsorship.
