LOS ANGELES—Kate Kozlova, founder of In Bed With Kate, brought "Sex With The City," an open-to-the-public rooftop event, to a broader audience at Level 8 Golden Hour in DTLA, following last month’s private industry event, Sex Toys With The City.
Held Friday, Aug. 14, the event transformed the Level 8 Golden Hour rooftop into a fusion of house and techno, sexual wellness, visual art, and nightlife, inspired by the idea that sexual energy is one of the highest forms of creative energy—much like music.
The evening featured DJs and electronic artists RCKSLVR, Kapir, Luigi Amore, and Kris Marlowe. Rick Silver, founder of Reunite Events, headlined the event, while Kapir presented a new track and Amore debuted new "Sex With The City" visuals.
The result was an Ibiza-inspired experience in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, with the event’s unofficial promise: "An orgasm for your ears."
"Sex With The City is really about connecting different forms of creative energy, sexual empowerment, and the magic of music," said Kozlova.
The event also continued In Bed With Kate’s focus on bringing sexual wellness into mainstream nightlife. Guests received curated goodie bags featuring products from participating pleasure brands, including Cherry Dildos from XR Brands, Spot from Kiiroo, and lubricant samples from Wicked Sensual Care.
"Sex With The City" was hosted at Golden Hour Level 8 DTLA, the rooftop venue at Moxy Downtown Los Angeles operated by Houston Brothers Hospitality, bringing together the pleasure industry, electronic music, nightlife, and creative culture.
