FRANCE—Exsens, a manufacturer of sustainable pleasure products, has been recognized with a bronze rating from EcoVadis, a global sustainability assessment platform, for its adherence to ethical practices, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.
Exsens has integrated 30 percent Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastics in the packaging of its bestseller Warming Massage line. This shows the company's dedication to reducing environmental impact while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
PCR plastic will be used in the Arousal Gel line, as well.
The company's packaging has always been BPA-free and sourced in Europe, ensuring strict safety and environmental standards compliance.
Exsens continues its support for social causes by donating a percentage of sales to Population Services International (PSI.org) each year. PSI.org is a global health organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world by focusing on serious challenges like a lack of family planning, HIV, and AIDS, barriers to maternal health, and the greatest threats to children under five, including malaria and malnutrition.
Said Rebecca Pinette-Dorin, the North American brand manager at Exsens, "Sustainability is key and we have been working towards incorporating PCR plastics into our packaging for quite some time. Our commitment to environmental responsibility and product quality is at the core of everything we do. This is just the next step for us, but we hope it will encourage other manufacturers in the sexual wellness industry to take the same initiative."
