MUNICH—Beducated, a sex education platform, has launched its "How to Be an Ally" quiz, a free educational resource designed to help people assess and improve their allyship to the LGBTQ+ community. LGBTQ+ rights are now facing growing challenges across the United States and globally.
The quiz, which takes approximately five minutes to complete, guides participants through scenarios and knowledge questions that reflect real-world situations allies might encounter. Upon completion, participants receive personalized feedback and access to curated educational resources they can use or share with friends and family.
Said Mariah Freya, co-founder of Beducated, "We recognize that the majority of our users are straight, so we wanted to create something truly useful for them during Pride Month. Inclusivity isn't just about featuring diverse people in everything you do, though that is important as well, but also teaching people how to think inclusively in their everyday lives. We created this quiz not as a test to pass or fail, but as a starting point for people who genuinely want to support the LGBTQ+ community but may not know how to do that meaningfully."
Beducated's research has consistently shown that sexual confidence and satisfaction correlate directly with overall well-being. However, finding inclusive, comprehensive sex education remains particularly challenging for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Freya added, "What happens in your bedroom remains one of the most powerful statements you can make, a declaration that your desires matter, regardless of who's trying to legislate them away. That's why we're committed to providing education that embraces every body type, gender identity, and sexual orientation."
The quiz represents part of Beducated's broader Pride Month initiative under the banner "Pleasure is our Pride," which emphasizes the political dimension of pleasure education in 2025's challenging climate for LGBTQ+ rights.
The Allyship quiz is now available here and is free to access without creating an account.
